Chakolas Silk House stands at Round North, Thrissur — a landmark in the city's most storied textile quarter, steps from the Dolours Basilica. For over a century, Kerala families have come here for the most important purchase of a wedding: the bridal silk.
What sets Chakolas apart is the curation. Not a warehouse, not a fast-fashion floor. Every piece on this showroom is hand-selected — Kanjivaram temple borders in bridal reds, Kerala Kasavu in heirloom gold, Banarasi brocades, and designer lehengas for reception nights. South Indian craftsmanship, personally chosen.
Brides planning a Thrissur wedding have always trusted Chakolas. And yet, until now, not a single page existed online to reach them. That changes today.

Over a hundred years of Kerala weddings have passed through this showroom. The families keep coming back — generation after generation.
“We bought the bridal Kanjivaram, the reception Banarasi and sarees for the family all in one visit. The staff knew exactly which pieces suited the occasion. Every rupee was worth it.”
“My grandmother bought her wedding silk here. My mother did too. I bought mine here last month. There is something rare about that kind of continuity in a city that keeps changing.”
“Best Kanjivaram selection in Thrissur. The variety is genuine, the quality is consistent and the prices are honest. We did not go anywhere else for the wedding shopping.”
